day one - a show that should have never been cancelled: angel

In a lot of ways I enjoyed Angel more than I enjoyed Buffy. I felt it had all of the wit and charm of its predecessor but with a darker edge; I enjoyed watching Angel, Wesley, and Cordelia as a trio grow and change from the characters they were on BtVS. Its a shame that it was cancelled during one of its best (and redeeming) seasons and I always wonder what Joss would have had in store for us.
