30 Day Art Challenge: Day 1:

1. Yourself or your persona

This is something that has been floating around in my head for some time now. It’s not exactly a ground breaking message or anything, but I felt like I needed to get this out for my sake.

I need to tell myself it’s okay. If I don’t learn to love myself now, I’m not going to love myself even if I do lose all the weight that I want to. I’m working on it, but it’s a slow and laborious process. Especially working two jobs.

But here it is, I suppose. A much less flattering caricature of myself than I usually draw, but it’s the truth. I’m also a lot more naked than I usually portray myself to be. HAH
