This works well. Mix one boxed cake mix and one can of soda…any kind of either and bake at 350˚ for 18-24 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.  That is it.  Don’t add egg, oil, water or milk…just cake mix and soda.  So easy! I did chocolate with diet coke a few weeks ago and it was yummy.  I also did a white cake mix with sprite and it was good as well.  I can’t wait to try some more combos!

I do this when I’m making lazy vegan cupcakes/cake! I heard not to use diet sodas though because it gives it a weird aftertaste. Also I do dark sodas like Pepsi or Coke for dark cakes like chocolate and light neutral ones like Sprite for vanilla or yellow cakes. You also can do just a can of pumpkin mixed with the Spice Cake mix to make pumpkin spice muffins! Which fucking rocks.
