Sociology grad student, feminist, atheist, vegan, art appreciator.

The truth is, the game was rigged from the start.

awkwardfeministmoments:

[Image description: Background is 6 piece pie style color split with pink and blue alternating. Foreground is a picture of a grey tabby cat wearing a yellow wig. Top text reads “That amazing moment when you find out” Bottom text reads “You have always been a feminist” End description.]
I was thinking about my childhood and noticed that I was different from the other kids in my school and neighborhood. I didn’t like how pink was related to girls and blue to boys, I hated that the red ranger never was a girl, I hated that I couldn’t play with boy’s toys and I absolutely loathed fashion, makeup and all the things girls at my age used to care. In short, I just hated everything about patriarchy.
So, when I found out what and how important feminism is I felt really happy that I already had a little feminist side and that there were so many people who thought just like me.
